Blogger Question

 ?
I've started a Gramma's Brag blog that I wish to keep private between
my family and friends. Does anyone know how to go about this,
in a manner that they do not have to make Google Account?
Do I use that Open ID selection?

Also would like to know if they are having trouble with
their profile photo showing up properly on their blog...?
I would sure like to know...

If you give them the blog address, they should be able to type it in or bookmark it and just go to it, no account needed I believe, and they don't have to have a blog either. As for the profile pic, they need to make sure it is sized right, and uploaded into their profile. It might not show up right away. Hope that helps.

It isn't exactly what you are looking for.

Our family all have accounts on Snapfish, we can "share" select albums. This is really a picture printing service so it is really nice that any pictures you like you can just order and have sent directly to you. We did this with my sister's wedding. Everybody put their pictures in the the shared album then you could order your favorite pictures and it didn't matter who took the original. They have good prices and wonderful prints.

I have no association with that company.

I made a private blog for my kids and some friends when we were driving through France last summer. You create a new blog and can invite readers (think it can be done in "settings") All you need to do is fill in the email adresses of the readers you want to invite and they'll be the only ones who can visit the blog. They don't need a googleaccount, just an emailadress.
One warning: all the pics you post are 'stored" in picasa automaticly. When someone googles on your "private" blog's name, e.g. "grandma's brag" all the blog pics show up for the world to see. EVEN if you set picasa on "private/invited readers only" or whatever it's called!!!!
